Bitz on the Club:      

• This web fan club was started by Jackson Fam., fans since 1970. THE IMPERIAL VALLEY - ST. LOUIS RAMS WEB FAN CLUB is also to honor the Imperial Valley's own {MIDDLE LINEBACKER-#55 ROBERT THOMAS}. Our goals is to invite Die Hard Loyal St. Louis Rams Fans, to join in web club meetings, gatherings, tailgates, and collecting  memorabilia from #55 Robert Thomas, and other past and present Rams Players. We would like to unite all local and out of town Rams Fans to create an enjoyable, friendly atmosphere. We will huddle together for games and plan the occassional TAILGATE PARTIES.

ROBERT THOMAS #55:  

• Born Robert Wayne Thomas in El Centro, CA, Robert Thomas was rated the nation's No. 1 linebacker prospect by most scouting services as senior in 1997 at Imperial High School, two miles from El Centro. Robert made 600 tackles (213 solos) with 32 sacks, 7 interceptions, 16 caused fumbles, 6 fumble recoveries, 4 blocked punts, 4 blocked kicks and 21 pass breakups during his career... USA Today first-team all-America... Parade all-America... all-San Diego Section... as a senior, Robert had 93 solo tackles, 121 assists, 10 sacks, caused 4 fumbles, recovered 2, and made 3 interceptions... led team to 11-1 record in 1997... twice all-Imperial Valley and Defensive Player of the Year... Robert also earned 3 letters in baseball as a centerfielder and pitcher... had a career batting average of better than .400 with 15 home runs... history major. Pro Highlights: Intense hitter and fast pursuer... keeps balance while showing ability to drop and play in space... semi finalist for Dick Butkus Award, which honors the nation's top linebacker, for the last two seasons... three-year starter finished career with 293 tackles (198 solo), eight sacks for minus 44 yards and 41 stops for losses of 124 yards.
